Description of problem:
alsa mixer settings are no longer being saved, the link in my
/etc/rc.d/rc6.d points to a non-existant file.

I have tried using alsactl store, but this did not fix the problem.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Reboot
2.  Mixer volues reset to 0

    

Actual Results:  Mixer volumes are reset to 0.

Expected Results:  Mixer volumes should be saved.

There is no S00save-alsamixer script; never has been.

Perhaps you're seeing bug 133535.
