Description Nils Philippsen 2004-10-14 12:35:37 UTC
Description of problem:

When trying to paste text into a VNC client window, it pastes text
formerly copied in VNC, not what was copied locally. This is
regardless of whether Left-select/Middle-paste or Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V are used.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

vnc-4.0-8

How reproducible:

Easy.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect to a VNC server
2. Copy/Select something in the VNC window
3. Copy/Select something in a local non-VNC window
4. Try to paste into the VNC window

Actual results:

It pastes what was copied/selected in the VNC window

Expected results:

It should paste what was copied/selected in the local window

Additional info:

The VNC server I tested against is an up2date FC2 with 4.0-5.
When downgrading the client to 4.0-5, everything works as expected.
When running the 4.0-8 client against a 4.0-8 server, copying and
pasting works too.

(You said that it works for you now.)
