Description Ben Rosser 2016-07-16 19:19:11 UTC
Description of problem: Are you interested in providing google-gson for EPEL7?

It is a dependency of reflections, which is a dependency of a Java application I'm thinking of packaging for both Fedora and EPEL [1]. I just tested a mock build of google-gson on EPEL7 and it built without issue.

Additional info: I'm filing a bug as per the wiki instructions on how to get a Fedora package in EPEL [2], as none of the package maintainers appear on the "not interested in EPEL" list [3].

We are not interested in maintaining this Gson in EPEL. Feel free to request epel7 branch.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 25 development cycle.
Changing version to '25'.

Comment 3 Michael Simacek 2016-12-07 11:56:41 UTC
I think we don't need to keep this bug open. We won't be maintaining the package in EPEL 7, but if you want to maintain it yourself, feel free to request the branch in pkgdb anytime.
