I'll do the QE on this one. Could be one of the known errors like dual dvd, unnamed volumes, etc.

Comment 4 Jeff Teehan 2016-07-29 03:48:09 UTC
Dan has it assigned. We'll work on it together.

Comment 5 Daniel Berger 2016-08-01 13:52:11 UTC
Jeff, I cannot duplicate locally. I assume it has something to do with this change:

https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq/pull/9519

However, I tested with 0, 1 and 2 DVD's, so I'm not sure what would cause this.

Comment 6 Daniel Berger 2016-08-01 20:00:11 UTC
Ah, just realized that PR was applied against 5.6.1.0, sorry.

Hi Felix. Dan and I are having some issues tracking this down.
We took the value from the log and force fed it to an appliance and it worked fine. Was wondering if a new VM had been recently added.

We need:

1. Verification of the CFME Version Number

and if possible

2. Create a 5.6.1 appliance and add that SCVMM provider again. 5.6.1 has several ISO related fixes in it.

Let us know.

Going to mark this as post, since the changes in https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq/pull/9519, which the client is using as a hotfix, seem to have fixed it.

Comment 14 Jeff Teehan 2016-09-12 16:42:41 UTC
I've turned on every known troublesome VM I have for this run and so far I haven't seen any errors like this one. I'm pretty sure we cleaned up a bunch of these with 5.6.1. If it comes back we can reopen it.

Moving to verified using 10.16.7.232 running 5.7.0.0.20160906172503_12f65cb
