Description of problem:
Since the last version of the patch (in the attachment #1043734 [details] of bug 1230752) I have fixed some additional patches. Review of all changes can be made in https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/mcepl/gedit-plugins-pkg/commits/rhel-7.3 and the package builds correctly in Brew (https://brewweb.engineering.redhat.com/brew/taskinfo?taskID=11445842 ... apparently the release number needs to be fixed).

Works fine, previously visible problems don't happen anymore.
