Comment 3 Upstream Release Monitoring 2016-07-31 12:13:54 UTC
Patches were not touched. All were applied properly

Comment 4 Guido Aulisi 2016-08-29 12:35:27 UTC
Version 3.3.5 contains an important patch for thread safety of audio plugin applications: https://github.com/FFTW/fftw3/commit/d3442a8395e1fc6e77490c3f34c868b1998e4e96

It seems to compile with no errors on fedora 24.

Host applications should be recompiled against this version, because some of them contain a check for this new feature, at leas ardour 4 and 5 contains this check:

#ifdef HAVE_FFTW35F
	fftwf_make_planner_thread_safe ();
#endif

I hope it's possible to include version 3.3.5 in fedora 24.

Best regards.
Guido
