Description
Upstream Release Monitoring
2016-07-31 12:13:09 UTC
Patching or scratch build for fftw-3.3.4 failed. Created attachment 1186050 [details] Rebase-helper rebase-helper-debug.log log file. See for details and report the eventual error to rebase-helper https://github.com/phracek/rebase-helper/issues. Patches were not touched. All were applied properly Version 3.3.5 contains an important patch for thread safety of audio plugin applications: https://github.com/FFTW/fftw3/commit/d3442a8395e1fc6e77490c3f34c868b1998e4e96 It seems to compile with no errors on fedora 24. Host applications should be recompiled against this version, because some of them contain a check for this new feature, at leas ardour 4 and 5 contains this check: #ifdef HAVE_FFTW35F fftwf_make_planner_thread_safe (); #endif I hope it's possible to include version 3.3.5 in fedora 24. Best regards. Guido fftw supports MPI too: http://www.fftw.org/fftw3_doc/Distributed_002dmemory-FFTW-with-MPI.html#Distributed_002dmemory-FFTW-with-MPI orion's fftw-3.3.5-1.fc26 completed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=807367 I've updated to 3.3.5 in rawhide. I'm also working on building mpi versions here: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=15959271 Created attachment 1208056 [details]
spec with mpi support
