Description John K. Niegisch 2004-10-19 02:19:57 UTC
Description of problem: When using the Anaconda Partitioning Manager
it hangs up and freezes the computer whenever you point and click on a
partition box on the second disk tier (slave hard disk). The first
disk tier (master) has no problems unless the / (root) partition is to
be formatted. Then, after it confirms you want it formatted, does it
hang up the computer. I used the command: linux allowcddma at the boot
prompt at start of installation.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: all the time after I click on a partition box in the
second disk diagram.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use custom partitioning option in Anaconda
2. click on any box on the second disk diagram
3. computer freezes, must restart installation by reseting the
computer, and make sure you do not click in a disk diagram, click upon
the text instead, and no hangs.

This should be fixed in the devel tree for FC3.
