this problem occured when trying to install from an incomplete tree (i386-disc1) vs a complete tree (i386) ... Then what is the solution to this? Shouldn't anaconda ask for another CD? And how would this work over NFS? The way I've had to get through the install is copy the CD to a hardisk and fill in the missing packages with the one off the beta ftp site. Then redo the NFS install from this completed tree. I'm not sure how this bug is closed...I think it's pretty important. |
