Can we please get this patch backported to 7.2.z? This is key for our cockpit network UI. ydary, can we wait for 7.3.1 with that? Description of problem: cockpit creates NM connections with its own random uuid. Using the interface name is more readable, and is favourable to ovirt. This bug tracks the inclusion of https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/pull/4889 in el7.2.z cockpit.
