The fmpp package has moved its sources from sourceforge.net to github.com. There the upstream released the new version I'm asking for. Although the last commit was in december I think it's worth updating. I'm gonna need fmpp for packaging cassandra into RHSCL and this update would help with its maintenance. Thanks.

Don't need fmpp anymore, but I'm posting the update I made, if anyone needs it.
Although there is a HACK while updating fmpp requires newer version of freemarker. (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1369503)
