Description Mike McCune 2016-08-26 15:51:32 UTC
Something in our installer is not setting up the certificates properly in such a way that it is possible to configure pulp-admin to interact with the API on a Satellite 6.2 or Capsule.

Comment 1 Michael Hrivnak 2016-08-26 16:00:25 UTC
It appears that some settings are missing and/or wrong in 6.2 that were correct in 6.1.

SSLCACertificateFile needs to be added back to /etc/httpd/conf.d/pulp.conf

In /etc/pulp/server.conf, the security->cacert setting needs to match the same value.

On 6.1, both were set to /etc/pki/katello/certs/katello-default-ca.crt

it actually works fine, just need updated docs on how to do it:
