What happen if you downgrade linux-firmware to 20160609-66.gita4bbc811? Hi. This bug is already confirmed on Fedora forum in thread that I gave linke to it in my 1st post. There are 2 other users suffer from it & gave information that they resolve it by: sudo dnf reinstall libwbclient This is what given from "Rob Nobel" from Serbia & "s4vio" from Brazil. Look for comment 17 & 19 in 2nd page of thread respectively: http://www.forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=311241&page=2 Bellow is copy of their comments: ------------------------------- Rob Nobel: Hi, I had same issue, it was fixed using reinstall of libwbclient : sudo dnf reinstall libwbclient ------------------------------- s4vio: Hi, I had the same problem here. Fixed with sudo "dnf reinstall libwbclient". My notebook is an Asus N43SM. I just installed a new Fedora 24 and after an update gnome settings didn't start anymore. So, I believe many other people may suffer with this issue too. Just reinstall libwbclient as suggested by Rob Nobel. ----------------------------- I did not try this solution because I'm already format my laptop & installed Fedora 24 X64 bit cinnamon edition which never suffered from such issue. It seem that this bug effecting certain laptops only. But not limited to single model. My laptop is Lenova ThinkPad e550 while laptop of "s4vio" is asus N43SM Please you kind care about this issue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1214868 *** |
