Reproduced with engine + hypervisor deployment on QCI-1.0-RHEL-7-20160908.1 2016-09-09 10:55:35 [app] [E] RedhatAccess::Telemetry::PortalClient: Caught unexpected error when proxying call to tapi: Organization not found or invalid Should be addressed in 1.0.13 plugin (Sat 6.2.2 snap) Testing fix to ensure viability My original reproducer had RHV deployment failing at 39.6% |
Description of problem: I was doing a RHV(self hosted, 4 node) + CFME + OSE(3 node) deployment. At some point while deploying RHV the following error occured: ====== Puppet run for host mac52540089a668.b.b status reported as Error ====== /usr/bin/redhat-access-insights --register returned 1 instead of one of [0] change from notrun to 0 failed: /usr/bin/redhat-access-insights --register returned 1 instead of one of [0] ERF42-7017 [Foreman::Exception]: You've reached the timeout set for this action. If the action is still ongoing, you can click on the "Resume Deployment" button to continue. ====== Puppet run for host mac525400f1dee5.b.b status reported as Error ====== /usr/bin/redhat-access-insights --register returned 1 instead of one of [0] change from notrun to 0 failed: /usr/bin/redhat-access-insights --register returned 1 instead of one of [0] Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): QCI-1.0-RHEL-7-20160825.t.0 How reproducible: Not sure Steps to Reproduce: 1. Do a RHV self hosted deployment with insights turned on Actual results: Times out registering for insights. Expected results: a successful deployment. Additional info: In the production log I also found this, which may or may not be related: 2016-08-26 19:00:25 [app] [E] RedhatAccess::Telemetry::PortalClient: Caught HTTP error when proxying call to tapi: 401 Unauthorized: {"message":"Unauthorized: null user"} 2016-08-26 19:00:25 [app] [I] Completed 502 Bad Gateway in 2887ms (Views: 13.2ms | ActiveRecord: 4.7ms)
