I am running on 5.6.1.2 and this is working for me with an OSP8 provider. You need to make sure that OpenShift is configured for OpenStack.

Doesn't seem to work. I have added OpenStack as Cloud provider and also OSPd as Infra provider, OpenShift as Containers provider and I can see no link, even though there is InfrastructureMachineId.
