Description of problem:
Each client registers a list of xattrs that it is interested in receiving invalidations for. Currently it is not possible to unregister any xattr from the watch list.

Along with the xattrs also store the list of clients that are interested in notifications, so that the notification can be sent to the clients that have registered. Once this implemented there can be unregister of xattrs for notifications. Until then there is no unregister of xattrs

Could you add a description for a use-case why clients would be interested in not receiving events for xattrs anymore?

Basically this is for tracking per client registration of xattrs in upcall. And this is not something that is not going to be implemented until we have a use case that demands for it. Hence closing the bug as won't fix.
