Description Marina Kalinin 2016-08-31 20:31:59 UTC
It might not be a documentation bug, but SKU issues. Feel free to reassign, if needed.

The Installation Guide[1] recommends to register to rhsm and find "Red Hat Virtualization" subscription, for installing the RHEV Manager.
However, there is no such subscription available.
I see the following two under `subscription-manager list --available`:
  Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization
  Red Hat Virtualization Host

I believe, I would need to use "Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization" for the manager. And "Red Hat Virtualization Host" is for the hosts. If this assumption is correct, documentation needs to be fixed.
And if there should be a SKU called "Red Hat Virtualization", it should be added by the relevant team.

Thanks for reporting, Marina.

We can certainly update this in the documentation, but Joey, are there any plans to change the name of the entitlement?

What needs to be done? I do not see why this would be a SKU issue, but I am not understanding what is wrong.

The name still has "Enterprise".

Are you referring to the Eng ID description? My team does not update that. If it is a SKU description, can you provide the SKU?

jboggs, do you know which one is showing?

Closing this bug as the SKUs and docs match up. Please open a new bug if you find more issues with the SKUs.

Cheers,
Julie
