I my case, I only needed to downgrade the libnfsidmap package for nfs-idmapd.service to start. I can confirm that this problem exists on our Fedora 24 (64bit) systems too. Current solution is to downgrade as described. It's enough to downgrade libnfsidmap. This is a duplicate of #1372136. Steve this is a duplicate of Bug 1372136 which you fixed.
