Will it be possible to try attached patch in comment 3? I tested the patch and it seems to work. A brew build for test kernel is here: https://brewweb.engineering.redhat.com/brew/taskinfo?taskID=11695090 I ran the kdump test suite today on RHEL 7.3 Snapshot 3 and it did not hang on the HP Moonshots. 1. disk-dump https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/recipes/3055683#tasks 2. nfs-dump https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/recipes/3055684#tasks Moving to Verified. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
