Description of problem:

Mayavi/python crashes: e.g. see report here https://github.com/enthought/mayavi/issues/305 where crashes are attributed to dependency issues

issue will go away if updated mayavi is pulled by

pip install --upgrade mayavi


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

4.4.4; upgrade to 4.5.0 (via pip) resolves issues

How reproducible:

every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start python
2. from mayavi import mlab

Actual results:

crash

Expected results:

loaded python package

Additional info:

upgrade to newer mayavi version fixes problem
