It is already late in cycle. So let this be targeted for next release. Moving it to 3.2.0-beyond Considering the fact that we already have a Samba plugin[1] for collecting very minimal server logs, this particular bug can be used to track our effort to improve the same to include more logs related to connected clients and so on. Therefore changing the summary to reflect the same. [1] https://github.com/sosreport/sos/blob/master/sos/plugins/samba.py Since we do not have RHGS specific dist-git branches for sos moving bug to POST state based on the dependant bug status. Vivek, Can you verify whether the improvements done to samba plugin inside sos is effective or not? I see that the dependent bug has been resolved now. I am getting samba related logs in sosreports. The samba directory is present in sosreport and also log.ctdb is included. |
