Description Tommy He 2016-09-06 09:43:29 UTC
Description of problem:

While trying to power off or reboot the Thinkpad T450, the whole system hangs without response.
It only happens with kernel 4.7.2-201, not with any previous like 4.6.7-300, 4.6.6-300 etc.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

kernel-core.x86_64 4.7.2-201.fc24

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On Thinkpad T450, upgrade kernel to 4.7.2
2. Trying to initial poweroff/reboot either from terminal or GNOME menu
3. Observe

Actual results:

System hangs without response. Have to hard power off manually

Expected results:

System power off/reboot normally as it was before with kernel 4.6.7-300

Additional info:

System fully updated by 6 Sep 2016.
Just by selecting different kernels during boot would result differently.
UEFI/BIOS upgrade to v1.24, which is the latest version Lenovo provided.
journalctl shows a few nouveau error, not sure if it's related.

Let me know what additional logs I need to provide to assist pinpoint the cause.
