Description Tzach Shefi 2016-09-07 06:35:43 UTC
Description of problem: We should add missing instructions for RHOS VMware integration on OSP-d deployments.

Guessing it might not reach by RHOS 10, would probably be in form of post deploy/config automation files.

Our current VMware integration guide explains how to config via:
1.2.1. Packstack Deployment
1.2.2. Foreman Deployment
1.2.3. Manual Deployment

1.2.x OSP-d Deployment, which (IMHO) should be the first one on the list, as it's our only official deployment tool, Packstack is POC, Staypuft only handles up till RHOS6.

I've got access to VMware/vcenter and be would be happy to help.
I know the settings needed for Nova,Cinder,Glance but have no idea how to automate config via OSP-d files.

Tzach, we've actually since removed the VMware doc content, because NSX Multi-Hypervisor is no longer supported by VMware.

Details in the doc here:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/10/html-single/vmware_integration_guide/#overview

We're waiting on NSX-T integration to be certified before we create a new document.

As such, I'm closing this bug.
