Description Jim Perrin 2016-09-07 15:48:51 UTC
Description of problem:
the current qemu package provides a number of qemu-system-* emulators, but is missing aarch64.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2:2.0.0-1.el7.6

I'd like to request that this be bumped to 2.2.x or 2.3.x in order to support aarch64 emulation as well. This would provide added support for RHELSA and CentOS aarch64 builds.

That's only a solution for Fedora releases. This is filed against EPEL, where the package you listed isn't available. I'd still like to see this addressed.

Comment 3 Cleber Rosa 2019-05-14 01:36:03 UTC
Jim, you're right. I apologize for closing the bug.

But, having said that, I would keep my hopes high for EPEL 8, but not so much for EPEL 7, where the last update on the qemu package dates from "Mon Nov 02 2015".
