As of Fedora 30 (and much earlier than that) qemu-system-aarch64 is available: $ rpm -qif /usr/bin/qemu-system-aarch64 Name : qemu-system-aarch64-core Epoch : 2 Version : 3.1.0 Release : 7.fc30 Architecture: x86_64 Install Date: Wed 08 May 2019 09:38:46 AM EDT Group : Unspecified Size : 17497428 License : GPLv2 and BSD and MIT and CC-BY Signature : RSA/SHA256, Wed 17 Apr 2019 10:03:48 AM EDT, Key ID ef3c111fcfc659b9 Source RPM : qemu-3.1.0-7.fc30.src.rpm Build Date : Tue 16 Apr 2019 10:54:10 PM EDT Build Host : buildvm-19.phx2.fedoraproject.org Relocations : (not relocatable) Packager : Fedora Project Vendor : Fedora Project URL : http://www.qemu.org/ Bug URL : https://bugz.fedoraproject.org/qemu Summary : QEMU system emulator for AArch64 Description : This package provides the QEMU system emulator for AArch64. That's only a solution for Fedora releases. This is filed against EPEL, where the package you listed isn't available. I'd still like to see this addressed. Jim, you're right. I apologize for closing the bug. But, having said that, I would keep my hopes high for EPEL 8, but not so much for EPEL 7, where the last update on the qemu package dates from "Mon Nov 02 2015". |
