Similarly all the ceilometer alarm references and commands should be replaced by aodh in OSP9 logging-monitoring-and-troubleshooting-guide[1] [1] https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/9/paged/logging-monitoring-and-troubleshooting-guide/chapter-2-monitoring-using-the-telemetry-service Assigning to Lukas for review. Which ceilometer-alarms referenced in the 12.2. section are affected by the bug? Is it just the openstack-ceilometer-alarm or are should other packages be included, too? As far as I understand it, the AODH service replaces more of them ..? Where can I find the description of the AODH procedures that should replace the ceilometer ones in the Logging and Troubleshooting Guide? We just need to make sure we're not referencing ceilometer-alarm packages in 12.2 section indicated. Aodh is in another section 13. So thats already covered. (In reply to Pradeep Kilambi from comment #5) > We just need to make sure we're not referencing ceilometer-alarm packages in > 12.2 section indicated. Aodh is in another section 13. So thats already > covered. Thank you. I was not sure about it ... now it makes sense to me. The alarms were changed to the Aodh service and they are published on the Customer Portal. |
