Description Russell Dickenson 2016-09-09 00:15:03 UTC
Document URL: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-satellite/6.2/single/installation-guide/#large_deployment_considerations

Section Number and Name: APPENDIX A. LARGE DEPLOYMENT CONSIDERATIONS, sub-section "Increasing the Maximum Number of File Descriptors for qpid Using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6"

Describe the issue:

1. Step 1 contains the text "qpidd x nofile 65536". The option "x" is invalid, as the only valid values are "soft", "hard", and "-".
2. Step 2 instructs the user to run the command "systemctl" but on RHEL 6, there is no such command as this is part of systemd.

Suggestions for improvement:

1. In step 1, replace "x" with "-".
2. In step 2, replace the given commands with: "service qpidd restart"
