Description HPE Server Cert 2016-09-09 21:25:18 UTC
Description of problem:
On a RHEL6.x SUT the ethernet test does not run nor is an error encountered when more than one ethernet test is selected via the LTS web interface.
Ex. I have a SUT with two 20Gb ports but when I select both 20GigEthernet tests via the LTS web interface, neither test is executed nor is an error encountered.
If only 1 20GigEthernet test is selected then the test runs and completes as expected.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Cert kit:
redhat-certification-backend-2.8-20160819.el6
redhat-certification-hardware-1.6.8-20160820.el6
redhat-certification-hardware-preview-1.6.8-20160820.el6
redhat-certification-information-1.6.8-20160820.el6

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setup a RHEL6.x SUT
2. From the LTS web browser "create product on this server", Ecosystem hardware.
3. Create a RHEL6.x certification (issue seen on rhel6.7 & 6.8).
4. Select more than one ethernet device to test and push the "run selected"
   button.

Actual results: When more than one ethernet device is selected for testing neither one runs nor is an error encountered.

Expected results: When multiple ethernet devices are selected to run, they should both run.

Hello.

As a workaround, you may run them individually and submit many results. The review team will look through them and assign credit for those that pass.

We will still look into fixing this bug, but I felt you'd like to know about the workaround so you won't be blocked.

Thanks,
Ben
