Description of problem:

I attempted to use budgie on a MATE desktop using xmonad.  I have yet to find a media file which budgie has managed to play.

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. budgie <some video file>

Actual results:

A window appears with a handful of controls and a progress bar which quickly moves from at-the-beginning to at-the-end.  No video is displayed, no audio played, no error messages, no nothing.

Expected results:

Actually plays media.

Hi, this package have discontinued upstream:

http://ikeydoherty.github.io/budgie/

I will need to remove the package from the distribution.
