Description of problem:

Every video file I've attmped to play with parole causes it to pop up a box saying it needs an extra plugin - despite having installed every gstreamer plugin under the sun.  Clicking "Install" doesn't appear to do anything.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Play a video file with parole (I've tried an mp4, a Flash video and a few others).

Actual results:

A dialog appears saying parole needs a plugin (which plugin depends on the type of the video file, as you'd expect).   Clicking "Install" has no apparent effect.  No video plays.

Expected results:

After clicking Install, something indicates that a package is being installed.  After that's completed, video will play.

Additional info:

I *was* able to get parole to successfully play a .ogg audio file.

Running under MATE with xmonad as window manager.

This message is a reminder that Fedora 24 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 2 (two) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 24. It is Fedora's policy to close all

lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

Fedora 24 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2017-08-08. Fedora 24 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.
