Workaround: # dnf install automake autoconf libtool make gcc vala gtk3-devel gettext-devel autoconf-archive The same dependencies are missing when using the C++ template. These additional dependencies are also missing: glibmm24-devel gtkmm30-devel This message is a reminder that Fedora 24 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 2 (two) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 24. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '24'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.20.4 How reproducible: Install gnome-builder and build a Vala project. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install gnome-builder on a clean Fedora 24 instance. 2. Crate a Vala project using the Vala template. 3. Hit "Build" in gnome builder. Actual results: Build error due to missing build tools. Expected results: A successful build. Additional info: Attached a support log file generated by gnome-builder.
