I was wondering where the manpage came from when I was looking at the package state, since I knew upstream thrift didn't have one. I think the sensible thing to do is simply delete this skeleton. Lots of programs don't have man pages, and upstream doesn't provide one, so it can't be helped. The thrift binary has built-in docs which are intuitive enough. (`thrift` by itself hints at using `-help` and `thrift -help` is verbose enough).
