Description Yongcheng Yang 2016-09-20 09:40:22 UTC
Description of problem:

When dealing with the TPS tests of nfs-utils erratum, sometimes may encounter the failure of DeleteTest in RPM Test like:
Delete test FAILED
Output from RPM Command:
warning: file /var/lib/nfs/v4recovery: remove failed: No such file or directory
warning: file /var/lib/nfs/statd/sm.bak: remove failed: No such file or directory
warning: file /var/lib/nfs/statd/sm: remove failed: No such file or directory
warning: file /var/lib/nfs/statd: remove failed: No such file or directory
warning: directory /var/lib/nfs/rpc_pipefs: remove failed: Device or resource busy

After some investigation between the failed and passed logs (will attach them later), found that there always have warnings when erasing the package nfs-utils, which should make all the DeleteTest in tps-rpmtest failed.

Then how the passed DeleteTest jobs come form? Actually in these jobs, package nfs-utils is NOT removed successfully due to dependency issue like:
nfs-utils is needed by (installed) beakerlib-1.10-2.el7eso.noarch

So maybe we should deal with these warnings and make the package remove process more clean.

Otherwise, if TPS tests changing to use "rpm --erase nfs-utils --nodeps", we cannot work around to make it PASS.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Seems exists in both RHEL7 and RHEL6

How reproducible:
100% easy

Steps to Reproduce:
1. rpm -e nfs-utils --nodeps

Actual results:
