Description of problem:
In any application e.g. Evolution try to open some dropdown list, for example to switch from showing all messages to showing only unread messages. First problem is that list is misplaced. Second is that it shrinks on every attempt.

This is happening after upgrading to GTK 3.22


How reproducible:
In any GTK application try to open any dropdown list several times and see the result.


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start gnome session on wayland
2. Open for example gnome tweaks application
3. Try to open any dropdown list several times
4. Observe the effect.

Actual results:
Dropdown list shrinks on every attempt and misplaced.

Expected results:
Dropdown list should be displayed on the same place every time and shouldn't change in size.

This only happens on HiDPI laptop screen. When gnome-shell detects and sets higher scaling for windows. On external monitor with lower DPI it works OK.

Fedora 25 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2017-12-12. Fedora 25 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.
