Description myoder 2016-09-26 18:20:25 UTC
Description of problem: When canceling a VMs Manage Policies, the green status bar stays stays around for an extra UI refresh. Instead it should disappear after I click on something that triggers the UI to refresh.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Cancel a "Manage Policies" operation on any VM.
2. Green status displays.
3. Click "Manage Policies" on any VM, when the UI refreshes, the green status is still displayed.

Actual results: The green status should appear and disappear after the next UI refresh.

Expected results: The green status sticks around for 1 refresh too long.

Brian,

Can you look into this, looks like flash message is not cleared out after user switches to other screens after save/cancel of Manage Policies task for a VM.

Thanks,
~Harpreet

I cannot reproduce the lingering flash message, can you confirm if this is still reproducible?

Thanks,
Brian

I confirm that the bug exists. I was able to reproduce it on 5.6 and 5.8.1.
