I might be missing something, but RHN is deprecated and not supported anymore. That is why it is not documented. RHSM is the currently supported way to register to systems. And here is a better read on the subject: https://mojo.redhat.com/groups/release-engineering/blog/2016/08/31/you-may-not-know-2-cdn-is-about-to-replace-rhn-soon-deliver-the-goods We should add this to the docs with notice that CDN is the preferred option, since RHN is going away. This request has been reviewed by product management and the documentation team. In light of the recent retirement of the RHN UI, and the scheduled retirement of the RHN API, new systems cannot be registered via RHN, and registration for existing systems should be migrated to RHSM (CDN). CDN registration is already documented in our guides, and migration instructions are available at https://access.redhat.com/articles/1161543. For this reason, I am closing this bug. |
