IIRC the man sssctl was made minimalistic on purpose for easier maintenance and more detailed information on sssctl commands should be retrieved with --help for each specific command. That being said I do agree that the --help is less helpful then it should be, so we need to enhance that, but I am not sure if we want to expand the man page. Michal Upstream ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/ticket/3208 This bugzilla still needs work upstream. Because we are nearing the development freeze of RHEL-7.4 and the work is not finished yet, I'm reproposing the bug to RHEL-7.5. Please push back if you disagree. (In reply to Jakub Hrozek from comment #5) > https://jhrozek.wordpress.com/2016/12/09/restrict-the-set-of-groups-the-user- > is-a-member-of-with-sssd/ Sorry, this comment was for a different bug.. Since fixing this bug requires work in the upstream SSSD project which is not scheduled for the immediate future, I added a conditional development nack, pending upstream availability. Let's track is upstream only to avoid rolling the bug report from one release to another. If you disagree with closing this bug, please just reopen it. |
