This is a known issue. There are some constraints when doing manual partitioning. Currently we can not enforce these constraints directly when the partitioning is performed, but we are working on improving the error messages to signal what went wrong. Created attachment 1205622 [details] Screen dump of first page of error Description of problem: Get the fatal error whenever attempt to change "Installation Destination" filesystem sizes. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): oVirt Node 4.0.4 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Created an oVirt Node 4.0.4 DVD 2. Inserted the oVirt Node 4.0.4 DVD in the drive of a Dell R630 3. Booted from the DVD 4. Clicked "Install oVirt Node 4.0.4" 5. On "Language" screen, clicked "Continue" 6. On "Installation Summary" screen, fixed "Data & Time" and "Keyboard" 7. Entered into "Installation Destination", clicked "Click here to create them automatically", reduced "/" to 30GB, clicked "Done", "Accept Changes" and "Begin Installation" 8. On "Configuration" screen, fixed "Root Password" 9. Wait, error is displayed Actual results: There was an error running the kickstart script at line 7. This is a fatal error and installation will be aborted. Expected results: Install of oVirt Node 4.0.4 Additional info: If I DO NOT do step 7 but let the installation do Automatic Partitioning, the install is successful.
