Description Will D 2016-09-30 19:33:09 UTC
Description of problem:
The ability to execute the hammer cli relies on a system having a Red Hat Satellite entitlement. It would be nice if the packages necessary were part of Software Collections or available from some other repository that doesn't require a distinct entitlement.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
tfm-rubygem-hammer_cli-0.5.1.11-4.el6sat.noarch.rpm

How reproducible:
everytime

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attempt to isntall tfm-rubygem-hammer_cli-0.5.1.11-4.el6sat.noarch.rpm
2. Package and subsequent requirements are only available via a Red Hat Satellite entitment

Actual results:
unable to install hammer cli without a Satellite entitlement

Expected results:
be able to install hammer cli without requiring a satellite entitlement

I have noted the tools are available in the Satellite tools for RHEL 7, but not for RHEL 6.

Comment 2 Bryan Kearney 2016-10-04 17:34:28 UTC
Will, check out sat-tools under RHEL6. You should see it there. Let me know if you dont.

Comment 3 Will D 2016-10-04 19:58:55 UTC
Bryan, Not sure what I was seeing Friday, but the tfm packages for hammer_cli* are there under sat 6 tools.
