why not use groupupdate "Base" "Core" that should give you new packages in either. Hm, do these groups exist? If you have the time and would like to write up a patch to the manpages I'd appreciate it. I'm going to close this as notabug b/c it technically isn't. Just poorly documented. |

Example: When you upgrade to the recent yum, a new package fedora-rawhide-something.rpm has to be installed in order to get the yum.repos.d directory. From Core X to Core Y release, some packages are being added to the package sets as required, because they introduce vital new functionality. I would like to have these packages when upgrading. Either via an extra option or via normal depencencies, e.g. fedora-rawhide-something.rpm should be required by newer yums. This makes updating much easier.
