Description Marek Kašík 2016-10-07 14:19:04 UTC
Description of problem:
Currently if there is a soname bump in rpms I'm trying to compare with abipkgdiff the resulting log is like this:

Removed binaries:
  libpoppler.so.62.0.0, SONAME: libpoppler.so.62
Added binaries:
  0x7f3348000e10, SONAME: libpoppler.so.63

But I would be also interested in changes between those two versions even if there is the soname bump. This would be handy when I do rebases and look at what has changed.

Would it be possible to add a flag which would allow abipkgdiff to compare such packages?

Feel free to close this with resolution UPSTREAM (I don't have an account on
sourceware.org).

Thank you
