Description Steven Haigh 2016-10-10 13:09:38 UTC
Description of problem:
One two different laptops, this version of KDE does not show the status of wifi connections or 3G connections in the NM applet in the system tray.

When using wifi, the ? will still appear on the systray icon and the button to "Connect" to the wifi network will be shown - even though you are connected to that network.

When using 3G data, I can enable the modem and connect to my provider, however the list remains blank and no network details are shown in the expanded menu.

Screenshots to follow. Both were taken when a network was connected. One with Wifi only, one with 3G only.

I guess this will get fixed with kf5-networkmanager-qt-5.27.x. Let me know once you update to that version.

This has been fixed for a while now. Closing as housekeeping.
