Description Jitka Plesnikova 2016-10-12 11:46:33 UTC
Description of problem:
Package canl-c++ fails to build from source in Fedora Rawhide.

opensslgenericutil.cpp:54:54: error: invalid use of incomplete type 'X509 {aka struct x509_st}'

...
opensslextutil.cpp:977:47: error: 'M_ASN1_OCTET_STRING_new' was not declared in this scope

This is caused by upgrading openssl from 1:1.0.2j-1.fc26 to 1:1.1.0b-1.fc26.

Comment 2 Fedora Admin XMLRPC Client 2016-12-08 14:05:34 UTC
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Comment 3 Mattias Ellert 2016-12-08 14:09:46 UTC
Upstream has decided to discontinue support for the package rather than port it to OpenSSL 1.1.0. The package has therefore been retired in rawhide.
