This can be QE reviewed now. The upgrade_etcd.yml playbook is called automatically by other playbooks, so the only doc change in the Automated Upgrades doc is a bullet here that says that the etcd upgrade is included in the control plane phase: http://file.rdu.redhat.com/~adellape/120216/upgrade34/install_config/upgrading/automated_upgrades.html#upgrading-control-plane-nodes-separate-phases For manual upgrades, step 4 here has you take an etcd backup before the upgrade: http://file.rdu.redhat.com/~adellape/120216/upgrade34/install_config/upgrading/manual_upgrades.html#preparing-for-a-manual-upgrade Etcd is then upgraded here in step 2: http://file.rdu.redhat.com/~adellape/120216/upgrade34/install_config/upgrading/manual_upgrades.html#upgrading-masters The doc looks well. |
