Description mattias.eriksson 2016-10-13 08:32:28 UTC
Description of problem:
Running F25 beta with on kernel-4.8.1-1.fc25.x86_64, I can't connect with a barracudavpn due to it can't open the tap device.

The barracudavpn is a thirdparty software with version barracudavpn-3.2-1.x86_64

However, it works if I run a 4.7 kernel from F24 (4.7.6-200.fc24.x86_64)

We generally don't provide support for 3rd party software. Can you share more logs that show the problem of "can't open the tap device"?

Comment 2 mattias.eriksson 2016-10-14 07:46:23 UTC
Now, when I was going to give you some logs it seems to work. Not sure what update that fixed it. It might be that I was still running 4.8.0 kernel...
Anyway, something I upgraded fixed it... so I'm closing this.
