Fedora Core versions of OOo are not "Java enabled" because Java is not distributed with Fedora Core. Furthermore, since Java is required during the build process for those bits, and since Java isn't distributed with Fedora core, you can't build the Java-enabled build on a stock fedora core system. Java pieces aren't supported under FC, though we are working on getting the Java pieces compiled with a free Java implementation so that this will work in the future. However, if Java isn't enabled, that checkbox should probably go away. |
