Verified: Environment: rhosp-director-images-9.0-20161021.2.el7ost.noarch I saw that the new images were added to glance and after scaling, the new compute had 7.3 on it. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. Deploy overcloud with: openstack overcloud deploy --templates --control-scale 3 --compute-scale 1 --swift-storage-scale 0 --block-storage-scale 0 --neutron-network-type vxlan --neutron-tunnel-types vxlan --ntp-server clock.redhat.com --timeout 90 -e /usr/share/openstack-tripleo-heat-templates/environments/storage-environment.yaml -e /usr/share/openstack-tripleo-heat-templates/environments/network-isolation.yaml -e network-environment.yaml --ceph-storage-scale 1 2. Update the undercloud and the overcloud to latest (rhel7.3) 3. Install rhosp-director-images-ipa and rhosp-director-images and try to update the glance images for overcloud nodes (openstack overcloud image upload --update-existing). 4. Scale out the deployment with additional compute. 5. Check the OS version on the new compute. Result: rhel7.2 Expected result: rhel7.3
