Description Christophe Fergeau 2016-10-18 10:34:22 UTC
If a password field is focused in firefox (eg the 'Password' field on paste.fedoraproject.org, I'm having having the following issues with modifiers:

- focus the password field in the firefox window
- try to alt-tab to another application
-> the alt-tab pop up window does not show up
- switch a gnome-terminal window (works with other windows too)
- add some text to the clipboard (ie select + ctrl-shift-c)
- alt-tab to the firefox window
- press ctrl+v to paste the clipboard content to the password field
-> result: 1 single character is pasted (I suspect it's 'v')
-> expected result: the whole clipboard is pasted
- if you released ctrl, and try again, then the whole clipboard content is pasted

This is on a fedora25 using gnome3.

Looks like clipboard problem with XWayland.

Comment 2 Christophe Fergeau 2017-01-30 09:06:16 UTC
I can no longer reproduce with firefox-51.0.1-1.fc25.x86_64
