Ben: I'm just seeing this for the first time. I might be able to sneak this in to 7.3 with the week delay, but I'm not sure.

Question: Should I add this option to the configuration parameter tables in the dm-multipath manual?

If you have time, then sure. It belongs in the manual.

I have added this parameter to all three configuration option tables of the document, with this description:

skip_kpartx
If set to <literal>yes</literal>, <literal>kpartx</literal>
will not automatically create partitions on the device.
This allows users to create a multipath device without creating partitions,
even if the device has a partition table. The default value of this option is <literal>no</literal>.

I will clone this for 6.9.
