I have a Dell D800, and not seeing the problem. Check with Nvidia it seems their server cannot run two instances of X simultaneously, either drop the rhgb boot parameter in grub.conf, or remove the Nvidia driver until they fix this issue. Daniel found next things(facts): -rhgb sits default on vt8 -i turned on consoles tty7 and tty8 -rhgb should exit oon end of load but it does not -> so it can not live with tty8 -rhgb from FC2 is working properly (there can be 2 instances of X server with nvidia driver) |
