Previously, due to a bug, the register-ds-admin.pl utility was not able to register a local Directory Server instance to a local configuration server using a silent registration. The INF file structure has been updated to fix the problem. As a result, register-ds-admin.pl is now able to register to any local and remote combination of the configuration server and the servers to be registered.

Upstream ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/389/ticket/49015 Fixed upstream. Note - the new fix changed the silent install parameters slightly. The design doc has been updated: http://directory.fedoraproject.org/docs/389ds/design/console-remote-reg-design.html Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
