Description Daniele 2016-10-20 15:06:42 UTC
1. Nature and description of the request:
Backport ignore_iolog_errors for sudo-io logging

2. List the business requirements:
We need to have the possibility to keep going the sudo-io logging in case of disk error.

3. How would you like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)
Backport the functionality listed here
https://marc.ttias.be/sudo-user/2016-10/msg00025.php

4. Does you have any specific timeline dependencies and which release would you like to target (i.e. RHEL5, RHEL6)?
RHEL6, RHEL7, less urgent than
https://access.redhat.com/support/cases/#/case/01717808
but if possible end of Q2 2017.

5. Would you be able to assist in testing this functionality if implemented?
of course, with the help in order to reproduce io error problems

This feature will be delivered in rhel 7.4 by rebase. It is now available in testing copr build sudo-1.8.19p2-1.el7.
